One Stop Shop gets facelift with Format
Falkirk Council required a fresh, more modern image for its tired looking local council community office in Denny and chose the striking Blue Monday shade of Format to help give the reception area a bright, new look.
Format, a recent addition to the Tessera range of carpet tiles from Bonar Floors, is a low loop pile tile with a new advanced pile construction which provides customer benefits above and beyond a normal low loop tile. It offers all the wear resistance and appearance retention of a usual contract low level pile tile but features rich texture which is achieved with built in multi-height tufts. The result is a stunning tile that offers greater visual appeal and better value.
“Presenting a positive image is vital for a council as we must be seen to be a modern, forward-thinking establishment that focuses on meeting the needs of the community we serve. Format was the ideal flooring solution to be used in our reception area refurbishment. We offer an array of services to the local community in Denny and residents frequently visit our office to pay bills or make enquiries. This means we have heavy foot traffic and demanded flooring that would still look good at the end of a day. It also had to be cost effective as we are accountable to the public for money we spend,” says Lynne Seaton from Falkirk District Council.
Available in 18 contemporary and commercially attractive shades, Format is suitable for a wide range of installations which can be easily co-ordinated with a variety of interior schemes. The combination of solution dyed yarns for wear resistance and space-dyed yarns to give a subtle flecked effect, means Format has superb soiling hiding ability.
