Nuway entrance system for The Bullring
The Bullring is a prestige retail centre in the heart of Birmingham and one of Europe’s newest shopping destinations. Visitors to the Bullring enter over Tuftiguard entrance matting from Bonar Floors. Over 400m2 was fitted in the two months prior to opening, ensuring that the flooring will be kept as free as possible from dirt and moisture even with thousands of pairs of feet passing across it.
Highly durable Tuftiguard is seen as ideally suited to the prestigious shopping destination. This high-traffic location will see millions of visitors in the next few years and it is essential that the chosen entrance matting removes dirt and moisture, retains its appearance and cab be cleaned easily and effectively. Tuftiguard has been used throughout the main areas of the Bullring as well as in the flagship Debenhams Store and Moor Street car park. It was specified by The Birmingham Alliance’s architect Benoy and main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine as part of the £250 million construction project and was installed by Mat Services.
