
Bonar Floors and Forbo
Bonar Floors’ product portfolio to be presented under the Forbo brand
On July 28, 2008 Forbo announced the acquisition of Bonar Floors, the transaction was completed on September 30, 2008. With the acquisition of Bonar Floors, Forbo Flooring Systems has further strengthened its leading position as a systems provider of flooring solutions for the commercial and residential market.
In the past months after the transaction was official, the integration of the two companies has started. All Bonar Floors individual brands which are Flotex (flocked floor covering), Coral & Nuway (entrance systems), Tessera & Westbond (carpet tiles) and Chocflex (acoustic vinyl) will be presented under the Forbo Flooring brand. Eventually the “umbrella brand” Bonar Floors will disappear. In countries where sales teams from both companies are active, the integration of activities will take - or has taken place. By introducing all products in all countries Forbo Flooring broaden it’s overall product offer and will expand sales internationally aiming for growth. All customers will be informed personally on the progress and status of the integration in the market place..
Over the next months all products will also be integrated in the Forbo Flooring website. In the meantime the Bonar Floors website will continue to run until the full transition has taken place. Should you have any questions about our products, please contact us by phone or email.
